Altiostar, a Rakuten Symphony Company
Altiostar is now part of Rakuten Symphony . Altiostar’s open, virtualized RAN (Open vRAN) software supports the O-RAN Alliance specifications around open interfaces to make possible a multi-vendor mobile network with open interfaces that can be executed on Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) hardware. Altiostar’s 4G and 5G software is one of the first cloud-native Open vRAN solutions available and allows mobile network operators to accelerate service velocity. Intel and Altiostar are collaborating to build an open and automated virtualized RAN (Open vRAN) solution that combines the best off-the-shelf network-transforming hardware, reference designs and optimized software.
The architecture enables advanced cloud-based networks that support agility, openness, ease of use, and enhanced quality of experience (QoE). For more information, visit https://www.altiostar.com/.
One of the key roles that Altisotar plays is to nurture the open RAN ecosystem to enable diversity of supplier choice while also ensuring that there is an integrated solution for the purposes of making it easier for deployment by operators.
Altiostar has developed multiple blue prints with different partners. These blueprints are tested and certified by Altiostar and can be deployed by our operator customers with full peace of mind that an end-to-end solution will work. Our team is continually working with multiple cloud, radio and hardware platform vendors, including Intel, towards this objective.
