In this presentation Telekom Austria will discuss its vision of the "Future Operator Stack" as it shall apply for a Telco Operator moving to NFV and SDN. The presentation will shortly introduce the principles and argue why it is that important to actually achieve an implementation that is following those principles in a strict manner. It will then move on to present the Future Operator Stack and explore its working in various situations. There will be deviations from the behavior that is nowadays specified in some recommended approaches and it will be argued why those differences are advantageous and how they will help an Cloud Native Operator to succeed. The presentation will at times connect with the actual status of the work in Telekom Austria Group to provide some proof points that TAG is actually following its vision. In summary the challenges that the industry is facing are presented and the audience will be left with questions that shall help considering whether the industry is on the right track currently.
