NFV Characterization - Best Known Methodologies

NFV Characterization - Best Known Methodologies

The lack of a standards-based testing framework has hindered the planning, procurement and deployment of virtualized networks and functions. Intel launched the Network Services Benchmarking (NSB) program to address this issue by developing a common framework for Network Function Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI) and Virtualized Network Functions (VNFs) characterization. The NSB framework, which has been added to the OPNFV Yardstick project, will help facilitate deterministic and repeatable benchmarking. In this session, you will learn about the new NSB features available in the OPNFV Fraser release, new sample VNF examples, and commercial integration projects.
