Testing Scale and Performance of OVSDB & Netvirt in OpenDaylight Beryllium
Recorded Apr 12 06:00 am
About this Webinar
Intel developers tested scale and performance of OVSDB and Netvirt projects for the Beryllium release and expanded DPDK specific upstream continuous integration testing. Attendees will learn how engineers came up with a novel way to test the scale of OVSDB and NetVirt using an ovs-docker container. To facilitate this work engineers added docker specific infrastructure support in upstream OpenDaylight continuous integration and created the first scale test for OVSDB SB and Netvirt.
Attendees will also learn how performance scripts and robot tests were created and used to test OVSDB Netvirt round-trip performance. As well as how engineers updated OVSDB ovs-docker containers to 2.4.0 to support DPDK full integration tests. Finally attendees will hear about how Intel engineers were leading and an integral part of a recently released OpenDaylight Scale, Security, Stability and Performance (S3P) whitepaper.
