In this course, Neal Oliver, Principal Engineer at Intel Corporation, discusses the structure of a representative edge computing application as it is implemented in Intel® Smart Edge Open. He then describes an Intel® Smart Edge Open flavor designed to support applications, such as the Smart City application, and shows how the components of the application are distributed on the Intel® Smart Edge Open edge node before briefly demonstrating what the app looks like in operation.
