Course Overview
In this course, Neal Oliver, Principal Engineer at Intel Corporation, reviews the 3GPP 5G network architecture, at a level sufficient to explain how the network and an Intel® Smart Edge Open platform fit together. He then shows the integration points with the Application Function (AF) and Network Exposure Function (NEF) reference implementations, and the Core Network Configuration Agent building blocks. Neal ends this session explaining how RAN and core systems can be implemented in the Intel® Smart Edge Open framework.
