Intel® Network Builders now has 150+ partners, 6 end users and continues to grow!
Our program continues to grow rapidly with the ever-increasing support of our ecosystem partners.
We are extremely pleased to announce our newly added End Users, namely, China Telecom, Etisalat, NTT labs, SK Telecom with America Movil and Telefonica already members.
Intel Network Builders, with the continued support from partners and end users, will work to accelerate the transition to SDN and NFV. Collaboration between partners is key to moving POC solutions to trials and deployments.

Ecosystem Hosting Infrastructure
A remote access hosting infrastructure based on Intel architecture based servers, Intel Ethernet NICs, and other ingredients (such as DPDK (data plane development kit), Intel QuickAssist Technology, etc.) is available for Intel Network Builder partners that want to test and optimize their solutions. This infrastructure will allow for faster onboarding and validation. It will provide technical support at the hosting site and in some cases custom configurations. This will allow the Intel Network Builder ecosystem to work together to develop new ideas for reference architectures and POCs, develop a methodology to test software ingredients alone or in combination with others, deliver marketing proof points (perf benchmarks, collateral, POC, Reference Architecture etc.), and optimize for performance.
Viosoft is the third party who will host the lab. They are located in Santa Clara, CA . If you have a current need to accelerate onboarding and optimizations for your solutions, please contact Anju Saraswat at anju.a.saraswat@intel.com to discuss the process to get into the hosting lab.
Using DPDK with Intel® Architecture to Capitalize on the Power of NFV
Read our latest Solutions Brief to discover how equipment vendors are using DPDK with Intel® Architecture to consolidate workloads on a single, simplified, scalable platform.
Network functions virtualization (NFV) allows service providers to break the ties that bind their network functions to a particular hardware platform. Moving from a proprietary platform to a general-purpose platform yields improved flexibility and increased efficiency as software-based network functions can be controlled from a central location and deployed dynamically as needed. Merging workloads to a single platform makes it easier to implement multi-function and multi-vendor solutions in record time.
A successful transition to a general-purpose platform relies on increasing performance and reducing latency issues - especially for interrupt-intensive, packet processing workloads. Platforms based on the Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 v3 product family, and developed with Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK), are designed for demanding network applications and can significantly reduce latency and any impact it may have.
This will be available and ready for you to download from Intel 01.org on June 3rd . This major release introduces new capabilities, system stability, and performance improvements delivered through OpenStack Kilo release and Open vSwitch with DPDK. Stay tuned for more details!
