A Helm chart for running a picoCDN Edge Node VM for OpenNESS 20.06+
Overview of picoNETS
Founded in 2016, picoNETS has a vision is to improve the Internet experience in every home by providing Deep Edge Caching and CDN (Content Delivery Network). We decided to find an alternate solution to make high-quality media delivery uninterrupted to end consumers without increasing the bandwidth cost for providers. We have since evolved into a revolutionary new age CDN working with Carriers, ISPs and Content Partners while spearheading innovations in 5G Labs.
Application Description
picoCDN by picoNETS is a Deep Edge Caching and Content Delivery Network (CDN). Our Deep Edge CDN aims to outperform existing traditional CDNs. We achieve this by bringing your content closer to your users. With our Ultra-Low Latency CDN, we deliver a buffer-free experience for Full HD, 4K, AR, VR, and other bandwidth-demanding content. Every edge location of our distribution network includes a pool of Points of Presence (PoPs) that ensures your users are just a couple of hops away.
OpenNESS Building Blocks
In addition to the managed deployment and orchestration capabilities of OpenNESS, we also leverage its MEC capabilities and the edgeDNS service for traffic and content steering and delivery.
