In cloud-native ages, Cloud-native Network Function has become a successor to Virtual Network Function. For Cloud-native Network Function workloads classified as short-time task at edge, decreasing startup time is becoming increasingly important. This document describes how Intel® Scalable I/O Virtualization enabled platform and network devices are used to decrease startup time of Cloud-native Network Function on pass-through modes.
