Mavenir has integrated Intel’s AI model for beam management and Intel FlexRAN™ reference software with Mavenir's commercial mMIMO vDU software to deliver enhanced network performance and user experience. Intel's RAN AI model, trained on 3GPP channel model datasets, optimizes beam weights and number of layers to maximize each UE’s throughput.

This talk will present the combined Mavenir and Intel solution that is designed to improve performance in challenging radio environments, such as cell edges and high-rise building scenarios, and is applicable for both TDD and FDD deployments.

Dr. Kamakshi Sridhar is VP of RAN Technology and Strategy and Senior Fellow in Mavenir CTSO where she leads 5G Open RAN and 6G initiatives and explores partnership opportunities to bring differentiated features to Mavenir products.

She is the lead author of over 60 US patents and several industry whitepapers and has M.S and Ph.D degrees from MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Dan is the Senior Marketing Director responsible for driving the business, silicon, software and platform strategy for FlexRAN. The FlexRAN reference platform enables a cloud native platform at the very edge of the wireless network for all for 4G, 5G RAN deployment types enabling much greater network and business innovation, automation and flexibility.

Dan joined Intel in 2005 and has held a range of technical and marketing roles mainly focused on networking segments playing a pivotal roles NFV market transformation and Cloudification of the RAN.
