Edge applications have many complex deployment scenarios and challenging needs for management. Edge orchestrators need to be highly extensible to handle these complexities at scale. Some of the examples of such workloads include Orange Telecom Use Case of Autonomous Vehicle workload migration and 5GC. In this talk we’ll examine how Orange Telecom leveraged EMCO(Edge Multi-Cluster Orchestrator) to orchestrator and manage Autonomous Vehicle use case. We’ll also examine other applications like 5GC, their complexities and how EMCO can be used to solve their edge orchestration requirements.
