Federated Wireless

Federated Wireless is the leader of new shared spectrum technology. The company provides innovative cloud-based wireless infrastructure solutions to extend the access of carrier networks, including its dynamic Spectrum Access System (SAS) which changes the way in which spectrum is allocated, managed, and optimized. Federated's unique approach incorporates a neural network of radio sensors allowing interference free access to low-cost, high-quality, licensed spectrum, breaking down traditional barriers of high cost and exclusive spectrum. The SAS coupled with the company's cloud-based EPC core and application orchestration engine enables true Software-Defined Networking (SDN) across the enterprise.

Federated Wireless is headquartered in Arlington, VA, with offices in Boston, MA and Sunnyvale, CA.

CINQ XP CINQ XP is a cloud–based platform that provides access to shared spectrum and enables real time planning of mobile networks on 3.5 GHz. Built on Federated Wireless’ Spectrum Access System (SAS) and Environmental Sensor Capability (ESC), CINQ XP creates a new model of wireless that will provide carriers and service providers the following benefits:

Network Densification: CINQ XP provides mobile network operators and service providers with a platform for network densification through licensed shared spectrum. The cloud-based software solution provides the tools needed to plan and manage networks in real time with visibility into a shared environment, enabling real time cost-efficient expansion of networks through increased capacities of high quality, low cost spectrum.

Reduction of Cost/Time: The CINQ XP platform uses a variety of different geographic data and provides network analytics that all but eliminate the need for drive testing and other network planning costs. Now a model for a network within a region can be built significantly faster, reducing the cost and time spent utilizing current solutions.

Extension of Wireless Indoors: CINQ XP provides mobile network operators and service providers a new economic model to cost effectively and seamlessly extend networks indoors, where 80% of traffic originates, enabling indoor coverage at lower costs than Wi-Fi economics.

New Market Opportunities: CINQ XP enables carriers to meet the connectivity demands of the emerging Connected Home, Smart City, and ultimately the Internet of Everything.
