ZTE ElasticNet, combined with SDN and NFV technologies, is designed to provide users with flat networks that can provide a variety of functions and meet different requirements. ElasticNet, based on cloud computing technology, is a software system that provides network functions and network control with elasticity. ElasticNet, adhering to independence from control of forwarding, provides centralized network control and complies with open and standard protocols. ElasticNet provides a programmable environment for the outside, makes the network visible for applications, promotes innovation of networks, and meets the challenges raised during network auto-configuration and flexible network deployment.


ZTE ElasticNet Application Scenarios

ElasticNet can be deployed in telecom operators’ networks, data center networks, enterprise and campus networks. ElasticNet supports virtualization of data center networks, traffic scheduling and collaboration between data centers, centralized management and security control of government and enterprise networks, optimization of operation and maintenance, multi-layer multi-domain optimization in operator’s networks, and centralized control of IP RAN/PTN network virtualization.

Internet Data Center

If ElasticNet is used in an Internet Data Center (IDC), cloud service performance can be optimized and the data center resource utilization can be significantly improved. By using flexible configuration policies, it can precisely adjust the east-to-west flow inside an IDC, provide faster real-time migration of the IDC virtual host and a higher network redundancy, and adjust the traffic scheduling by sensing the application QoS requirements and the underlying network load, ensuring the SLA and improving the network bandwidth utilization.
