Significant performance gains for HTTP traffic can be achieved with host stack performance by reducing the memory copy bottleneck between the application and network space. To realize this, the benefits of the 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processor with its embedded DMA engine along with Intel® technologies for memory copy acceleration from Intel® I/O Acceleration Technology (Intel® I/OAT) to Intel® Data Streaming Accelerator (Intel® DSA) are described and demonstrated.
