This document describes Platform Aware Scheduling (PAS), which is a paradigm that restructures the existing Telemetry Aware Scheduler (TAS) project to be a more generic model that allows various Intel Kubernetes scheduler extenders to be hosted. It revisits how TAS paved the way to enhance the Kubernetes scheduling capacity. This revised version includes new features and improvements. It also provides updated instructions to account for newer versions of Kubernetes and Kubernetes Descheduler.
