In this livecast from Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Javier Ramon, Head of Network Virtualization at Telefónica, stops by to chat about the value of network virtualization and Telefónica’s open source MANO platform (OpenMANO) designed to drive development of virtualized network functions (VNFs) in a vendor-neutral manner. He points out that the OpenMANO community is already backed by 23 companies and is enabling providers to easily test and develop VNFs as well as rapidly customize and deploy multiple environments.
