The towers are most recognizable part of a mobile infrastructure and is also very complex from technical point of view. It connects all mobile devices to rest of the mobile infrastructure using complex protocols like MPLS, SR-MPLS or SRv6. Today all these devices are separate boxes, created to solve one specific infrastructure problem. With use of FPGA, it is possible to simplify the overall design by using a single virtualized solution delivered as accelerated by FPGA SW applications. This presentation provides an overview of the a proposed solution using Intel® FPGA Programmable Acceleration Card N6000 (Intel® FPGA PAC N6000) with Intel® Agilex™ FPGA on board driven by partner software applications.
