Infrastructure Acceleration with Intel® Infrastructure Processing Unit We will discuss data center trends, infrastructure acceleration and Intel’s vision for the Infrastructure Processing Unit (IPU); a programmable device designed to enable cloud and communication service providers to reduce CPU overhead, enable new deployment models and support disaggregated data center architecture. With an IPU, customers can realize a secure control point and infrastructure acceleration that is isolated from the server compute workloads. Current and future products will be discussed.
