Course Overview
This training will discuss the customer experience utilizing the Intel® Smart Edge Controller and Edge Node. The Smart Edge platform is designed to deliver a scalable, secure, opinionated platform enabling applications, people and devices to interact at the outer most boundary (edge) of any network. The controller and edge node are enabled in a hardware and software solution that decentralize the network and the cloud, enabling computation at the on-premises edge of the network. The overview will discuss installation, deployment and activation of edge nodes, application and workload onboarding and lifecycle management, node administration, API frameworks, site preparation and zero-trust security.
