Program Overview
The application of computer vision in the retail vertical is bringing new opportunities to redefine processes, increase automation, create new efficiencies and build new business models. This training program offers practical guidance on the choice and use of Intel hardware and optimized software when deploying AI based applications at scale. The training is based on Intel's opensource reference implementation of the AI enabled checkout framework that is used to develop AI enabled self-checkout solutions. It consists of 5 main components, starting with Intel’s relevance in the retail vertical, followed by AI fundamentals, the Edge to Cloud infrastructure and Computer Vision based retail use cases. The training culminates with a hands-on activity utilizing the reference implementation to enable the learner to apply the technologies discussed in the program.
