Course Overview
This course was designed to discuss Intel® AVX-512 capabilities for network performance. You should be able to understand vectorization optimizations and how Intel® AVX-512 can be used to improve networking performance by optimizing networking and packet processing including new masking capabilities and optimization of lookups.

Chapter Overview
In this section, we will explore what vectorization is and why a developer may want to use vector instructions in their application. We then go on to look at the evolution of vector instruction sets on Intel® architecture, including the Intel® AVX-512 set, and discuss the continuous improvements that have led to it being a compelling instruction set for use in high-performing applications.
