Introducing New Intel® Select Solutions
Intel® Select Solutions for uCPE with Advantech* White Boxes
The Advantech FWA-3050* has two configurations verified as Intel Select Solutions for uCPE that benefit communications service providers by providing developers faster access to optimized and stable platform configurations to accelerate deployment of uCPE solutions.
Multi-Access Edge Computing with CASwell CAR-3080*
The CASwell CAR-3080* rackmount appliance, a verified Intel® Select Solution for uCPE, was developed for multi-access edge computing with its multiple network connections while also offering high-speed Ethernet.
Intel® Network Builders University Introduces a new Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK) course:
The DPDK Program provides an overview of DPDK as well as a series of deep dives into different components of DPDK, providing hands-on installation and set up as well as testing and performance measurement courses.
The newest course:
Membership Library in Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK): provides an introduction and overview of flow classification and DPDK flow classification libraries. Additional detail presented highlights some of the many library usages and real time examples available today, and includes a proof of concept (POC) on an Open vSwitch Flow Lookup scenario.

There are more than 125 courses available across five languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese & Korean), with new content released each month. The online portion of the university is available to all Intel® Network Builders program members and the public through a simple registration here. Intel Network Builders University is one of two learning centers in Intel® Builders University, which also includes the Intel® Data Center Builders University. Registrants have access to all of the content in the two learning centers.

Virtualizing Voice Transcoding Applications
Intel® Packet Voice SDK, as used in Nokia’s Session Border Controller,* enables voice transcoding applications to be virtualized with densities comparable to digital signal processors.
NFVi Benchmarks on HPE* ProLiant* DL380 Gen10 Server with Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors
High speed packet forwarding is critical to network functions virtualization infrastructure (NFVi), along with other attributes such as cost, security, and expandability. This white paper discusses how HPE* ProLiant* DL380 Gen10 servers deliver up to 28 percent higher small-packet throughput, compared to the prior Gen9 generation servers. These improvements are the result of various hardware enhancements and software optimizations, which are described in detail in this paper.
