Intel® Network Builders University Announces Three New Visual Cloud Courses

The Intel Network Builders University continues expanding its Visual Cloud Program this month with the addition of three new courses covering the topics of the Open Visual Cloud and an Introduction to Immersive Media.

New courses this month:

• Introduction to Open Visual Cloud: This course delivers an overview of the Open Visual Cloud as an open source project that offers a set of pre-defined reference pipelines for various target visual cloud use cases.

• Open Visual Cloud: Building Software Stacks and Reference Pipelines: This course looks at Intel's role in the Open Visual Cloud and then dives deeper into Open Visual Cloud reference pipelines, how this applies to media analytics and the ingredients of this pipeline.

• Introduction to Immersive Media: An introduction to the exciting world of immersive media within Visual Cloud. It covers the immersive media market and four key use cases including 360 video, volumetric streaming, artificial reality (AR) and immersive gaming.

 

 

Intel® Network Builders University Announces New Intel® Technologies and Platforms Program

This program provides courseware related to the growing portfolio of Intel products and technologies delivering solutions to help the networking industry, including Communication Service Providers and the ecosystem, to bring advanced performance and intelligence from the core of the data center to the network edge.

New courses this month:

• 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors Networking SKUs: This course discusses the 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors and the three CPU SKUs that are optimized for NFV workloads as well as how to enable Intel® Speed Select - Base Frequency (Intel® SST-BF).

There are more than 190 courses available across five languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese & Korean), with new content released each month. The online portion of the university is available to Intel® Network Builders program members and the public through a simple registration here. Intel Network Builders University is one of three learning centers in Intel® Builders, which also includes the Intel® Data Center Builders University and Intel® AI Academy. Registrants have access to content in both learning centers.
