Intel® Network Builders University Announces Two New Courses

Scalable Video Technology - This course provides an introduction into the features and architecture of Scalable Video Technology (SVT), SVT encoders, SVT encoder interface, and sample APIs. Delve deeper into SVT encoder architecture and algorithms while learning about SVT-AV1 progress over time. Explore the latest SVT-AV1 VOD optimizations, real-time performance on Intel® Xeon® based processors, and Intel’s SVT roadmap and additional resources to continue learning.

Intel® Distribution of the OpenVINO™ toolkit Deep Dive Technical Training - This course provides an opportunity to learn about the features included in the Intel® Distribution of the OpenVINO™ toolkit, a deep learning inference which delivers fast, accurate real-world results using high-performance, AI and computer vision inference deployed into production across Intel® architecture from edge to cloud. In this course you’ll learn to develop computer vision applications using the Intel® DevCloud, which includes a preinstalled and preconfigured version of the Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit. Access reference implementations and pretrained models to help explore real-world workloads and hardware acceleration solutions.

Intel Network Builders University closed 2020 making great strides in advancing industry training and education with over 43,000 registered and enrolled learners, 410,000 videos viewed and 130 Custom Pathways over the past 5 years.

There are more than 309 courses available with new content released each month. Closed captioning in multiple languages is now available for a growing number of courses. The online portion of the university is available to Intel® Network Builders program members through a simple registration here and for the public here.

Please take a look, and after exploring the offerings, let us know what content you would like to see added to the university.

Tests of the Perimeta virtual session border controller (vSBC) showed the solution delivering 1,400 calls per second and 33,000 bidirectional RTP flows on 2nd generation Intel® Xeon® processor-based servers.
